The lock you never take off
Every other hitch lock has to come off before you can tow. So it ends up in the shed, and your trailer sits unprotected. Kantrob stays on. Fit it once and it’s on the trailer when the thief arrives.
Trailers are the most stolen item on the farm
A trailer takes under a minute to hitch and drive away. The only thing that stops it is a lock that’s actually fitted.
Trailers are the most commonly stolen item of farm machinery.
An Garda Síochána
The cost of rural crime in Northern Ireland in 2025, up almost a quarter in a year.
NFU Mutual
Long enough to hitch an unsecured trailer and drive it off the yard.

The product
KNOTTLOCK
Cast stainless steel, 2.5 kg, and engineered to stay fitted while you tow.
- Cast stainless steel
- 2.5 kg
- Fits all Knott couplings
How it works
-
Feed the base through
The base of the lock passes through the opening in the coupling, so it locks through the hitch rather than clamping around it.
-
Slide it on
The body slides on from the other side and closes over the coupling. No tools, and it’s on in under 10 seconds.
-
Turn the key
Independently tested by Sold Secure and verified as drill and pick resistant.
-
Hitch up and go
It stays on while towing. Nothing to remove, nothing to store.
-
Leave it on
Parked in the yard, at the mart or on site, it’s already locked.
Which lock fits my hitch?
It fits every Knott coupling — KF, KFG, KRV and KS. Check the code stamped into your casting.
